Thomas C. Furst - President
Tom Furst is the founder and President of FSG Associates, a Rockford based executive recruiting firm. He has spent thirty-seven years in the recruiting and search business. As CEO Mr. Furst has guided the company to serve a national customer base and enjoys a reputation for excellence in management search. His personal recruiting efforts include chief executive officer/executive management, board of directors, senior level marketing and financial executive searches.
His personal efforts have been largely focused on closely held, private/family companies. He has spent extensive time in Boards of Director structure development and function. Mr. Furst provides many client CEO’s with counsel on the subject of corporate team configuration and improvement.
Mr. Furst serves on the Board of Directors of six corporations. He is active in the community serving as Chairman of the Board of the Rosecrance Foundation Board of Directors and Vice Chairman of the Rosecrance Health Network. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Rockford Art Museum and the Anderson Gardens Foundation. Mr. Furst has previously served on the Boards of the Rockford YMCA, Rockford Symphony, New American Theater, Chamber of Commerce, Rockford Local Development Corporation, a leading hospital system and a major financial institution.
