The Search Process
Furst Search Group has developed, over many years of success and failures, a proven search process that is based on quality and ongoing communication with our client resulting in a slate of qualified candidates presented within as little as 30 days. The steps in the process are as follows:
Orientation with Client – We invest sufficient time up-front to get a clear snapshot of your needs and issues:
- Interview involved employees
- Develop specific selection criteria
- Define interviewing process
Preparation of the Position Profile and Specifications – This part of the process is critical in the way we communicate the position to candidates and others within our network:
- Position Profile will define the organization, position, and requirements
- Profile will also be presented to prospective candidates
- Specifications summarize both technical and personal characteristics
Research / Recruiting – Our consultants identify, contact, assess and narrow the candidate pool down to a select few candidates:
- Definition of target markets based upon specifications
- Identification of appropriate individuals
- A "wide cast" communication with existing network resulting in thousands of contacts informed of the search opportunity
- Thorough questionnaires, phone interviews and asessment of prospective candidates
- Present short list of candidates including reports and any assessments requested by client
Client Evaluation – Furst Search Group takes an active role in managing the internal evaluation process:
- Evaluation of candidates by company executives
- Secondary evaluations
- Final evaluations – candidate and spouse visit (if necessary)
Decision / Relocation – Furst Search Group prides itself on following through to the very end of the process, assuring our clients and candidates are completely comfortable and satisfied:
- Determination of top candidate
- Negotiation with selected candidate
- Construction of job offer
- Presentation and acceptance of offer
- Assist as necessary throughout the relocation process
